Intelligens configures standard SM31 functionality allowing Unifoods low lever authorisation checking at detail data record level, including audit trail. Although the functionality extends to any configuration, the exercise in question was to extend SD price limit checking to a more detailed and controlled level ie product hierarchy level rather than SAP standard Condition level.
